Free live music on the lawn by the Activity Center every Sunday evening, 6:30 to 9 pm, through Labor Day weekend. Come by car with a Metroparks pass or by boat and tie up at the park. Three Sundays left in the season: August 23, August 30, and September 6.

Lake Shore Sail Club's Wednesday evening Summer Sunset Series runs off the Nautical Mile and is open to area racing sailors, not just members. Races 4, 5, and 6 go August 26, September 2, and September 9, with the awards party on September 16. Good spectating from the Mile around sunset.

Detroit Yacht Club's Sweepstakes Regatta, a windward-leeward counter race in the Detroit Regional Yacht-racing Association series, sailed the weekend after Labor Day. One of the bigger fleets of the fall on Lake St. Clair.

The in-water fall boat show at the Metropark: boats up to 60 feet in the slips, dealers and marine gear on the grounds, live music and food trucks. Thursday and Friday 1 to 7:30 pm, Saturday 11 am to 7:30 pm, Sunday 11 am to 6 pm. $10 online in advance, $15 at the gate, kids 12 and under free with an adult. Parking is $10 or free with an annual Metroparks pass.

Two nights of country music on the waterfront park in downtown New Baltimore, right on Anchor Bay. Gates open 4 pm Friday and 3 pm Saturday. Uncle Kracker headlines Saturday at 10 pm; The Family Tradition Band closes Friday at 9 pm. Beer tent, food trucks, and vendors. Tickets on the festival site.
